Koshirae / Mounts nr.: ZS-K0
This is an authentic Japanese Nihonto Samurai sword DaiSho Koshirae mount.
This beautiful Daisho set, consisting of the Katana and Wakizashi koshirae, is in good condition and is from the late Edo period (1840/1860).
The Saya's are made of wrapped leather in deep dark brown / black, the Tsuka-ito wrapping is a single wire version in good condition, the same Tsuka's are also good and the F&K are made of silver with an image of tigers and signed: RAKUSEI TOSHIHARU with KAO, Toshiharu lived in Kyoto and also worked as a Guardian at Nijo-Jo Castle in the late Edo period.
Tsuba's are from later Meiji period with dragons and Kiri blossom, The Menuki are gilded dragons Kozuka and Kogai are not present. All other sword parts are with the Same motif and also made of silver.
The Tsunagi of the Katana has the following dimensions for a blade, is 66.9 cm long, 2.63 cm high and 0.7 cm thick, the Sori is 0.7 cm. Nakago length 20.0 cm. Total blade size is 86.9 cm.
The Tsunagi of the Wakizashi has the following dimensions for a blade, is 53.7 cm long, 2.63 cm high and 0.63 cm thick, the Sori is 1.3 cm. Nakago length 12.4 cm. Total blade size is 66.1 cm.

This is an authentic Japanese Nihonto Samurai sword Koshirae mount.
This very high quality Katana koshirae is in super good condition and is from the Edo period (1750-1800). The Saya is painted high gloss black and without significant damage, the same of the Tsuka is good and the F&K, (the kashira is horn with super gold lacquer and mother of pearl) Tsuba, Menuki are ensuite with gold inlaid as flower and on the Fuchi horse motif from the Kinai school.
The Tsunagi has the following sizes for a blade, is 69.0 cm long, 2.7 cm high and 0.6 cm thick, the Sori is 1.9 cm. Total size is 98.0 cm.

This is an authentic Japanese Nihonto Samurai sword Koshirae mount.
This beautiful high-quality Katana koshirae is in very good condition and is from the Edo period (1750-1850).
The Saya is black high gloss lacquered with not significant damage, the same of the Tsuka is good and the F&K are Shakudo with very fine Nanako and its ensuite with gold inlaid with Dragons in the clouds. The Menuki are Shakudo Spiny Lobster crustaceans. The Tsuba is iron with an image of a dragon in the clouds. The Kurigata and Kaeshizuno are from buffalo horn. The Tsunagi has the following sizes for a blade, it is 60.0 cm long (this will not be original and a longer blade fits in the Saya. Saya length 72 cm. 2.6 cm high and 0.62 cm thick, the Sori is 1.65 cm Nakago depth 18 cm Total size is 98.0 cm.

This is an authentic Japanese handle/ Tsuka for a Samurai Katana sword.
This Katana Tsuka is in good condition and is from the middle/end Edo period (approx. 1750-1840).
The Same/ray-skin is in good condition, the Tsuka-Ito/winding of the Tsuka is good.
The F&K are iron with Kiri Mon and the Menuki are from Shakudo with swastika motif.
The Tsuka has the following dimensions, total length is 25 cm long, 3.7 cm high and 2.26 cm wide.

This is an authentic Japanese Nihonto Samurai sword Koshirae mount.
This Wakizashi koshirae is in good condition and is from the mid Edo period (1700-1800).
The Saya is painted black and has some minor paint damage and has a Kojiri from Shakudo, the leather wrapping and the same of the Tsuka are in good condition, the F&K from Shakudo, the Menuki as Phoenix birds inlaid with gold. The Tsuba is steel with a silver rim and has leaves as a motif.
The Tsunagi has the following sizes for a blade, length is 52.5 cm long, 3.1 cm high and 0.7 cm thick. Total size of the wooden Tsunagi is 69.3 cm.

This is an Antique Japanese Samurai sword Koshirae mounting.
The Wakizashi mounting is in very good shape and is from the Edo period, around 1700/1800.
The Saya has a nice black ribbed lacquer without damage, the same on the Tsuka is good quality, the F&K, the Tsuba and Kurigata, Kujiri is good quality from iron with a nice patina, the Menuki are Monkey and animals.
Please attention, the is a mounting / Koshirae only, no steel blade with it, only the wood Tsunagi.
Tsunagi length is ca. 30 cm, 2,8 cm high and 0,6cm thick. Total length from the Koshirae is 51,5 cm.

This super high-quality Katana koshirae from the Goto School is in super good condition and is from the Edo period (1750-1850). The Saya is lacquered black with a kind of grain or wood motif and without damage, the same of the Tsuka is good and the F&K, Tsuba, Menuki and Kozuka are Shakudo with very fine Nanako and are ensuite with gold inlaid and motif Samurai attributes. , the Fuchi, Kozuka (Goto Mitsumasa with Kao). This beautiful high-quality Katana koshirae is in very good condition and is from the Edo period (1750-1850).
The Saya is painted black with gold litter, in very good condition, with buffalo horn Kurigata, the Same / ray skin of the Tsuka is good and has a beautiful dark green Tsuka-Ito winding. The F&K are SIGNED, from Shakudo with very fine Nanako and are ensuite with gold inlaid with Dragon and Samurai of very high quality. The Menuki are Shakudo Dragons with golden eyes. This is an authentic Japanese Nihonto Samurai sword DaiSho Koshirae mount.
A beautiful Edo period Daisho set, consisting of the Katana and Wakizashi koshirae, is in good condition and is from the Edo period (1740/1790). The Sayas are black/very dark brown with a lot of light lacquer in beautiful condition, the Tsuka-ito winding is in very good condition and dark obergine colored (very dark red/brown), the same of the Tsukas are also good and the F&K are of Shakudo with gold dragons and Shakudo clouds. The Tsuba's are of iron with flower and leaf motif and gold inlay, The Menuki are ShiShi Temple lions and as far as I can judge solid gold of the Goto school.
The Tsunagi of the Katana has the following dimensions for a blade, is 60.0 cm long, 2.8 cm high and 0.55 cm thick, the Sori is 0.175 cm. Total blade size is 73.5 cm.
The Tsunagi of the Wakizashi has the following dimensions for a blade, is 45.0 cm long, 2.5 cm high and 0.5 cm thick, the Sori is 1.2 cm. Total blade size is 57.5 cm.
